i just want to wish all those going for the imt practice shoot today good luck :D

it's the one and only training for you all, SO MUST PUT IN ALL THE EFFORT OKAY!



i wished i was with you all D:
although if i go i'm only the reserve, but at least can hold the rifle for one last time this year

actually it's all my problem cos i didn't shoot properly during classification :/

and i wasted one freaking bullet cos after IA i go squeeze trigger and BLAH GONE.

SHOOT PROPERLY!!!!!!





sorry, i know i damn crap.

okay i shall type some tips here, from my own experience :D


1. open your legs.
-okay sounds wrong, but well, remember to spread out your legs and find a comfy position.
i left hand one, so usually i'll bend my right leg.
it's supposed to give greater support, yeah and then slant your body.
maintaining a good position is SUPER IMPT.
during classification i couldn't shoot well partly is because zaiyang's legs were obstructing mine, and i have no space to spread my legs and kept fidgeting ):
so if the shooter beside you is left hander then you suey lah. must make space for yourself :D

2.tuck the rifle butt into your hollow very very tightly.
- i always forget about this, but i think it should be of some help, cos it absorbs recoil.
and according to senior jansen last year, he said he part a shooting all he have to do is to tuck the rifle in and just shoot, no need aim.
BUT ERR DON'T FOLLOW HIM.
must aim :D

3. don't breathe/use breathing technique when shooting
-usually i hold my breath all the while :D
cos i cannot control my breath.
sir lee said let out half your breath, but uhh my measuring skills not good lah.
cannot measure how much breath i let out, sometimes let out 3/4 or 1/4, not accurate :D
so i rather hold my breath until i cannot hold anymore.

4. grip the barrel firmly
-this is like damn impt, but i always forget abt it.
that's why sometimes i shoot just ourside the line only D:
SO REMEMBER THIS AH SHOOTERS!
but another problem is my hands too short ): then the wires too thick, so always cannot hold properly.

okay that's abt all.
i think all of you dont have aiming problems lah, not like me.
need EYEPATCH.

maybe one day i can go film pirates of the carribean with johnny depp.
